2. Kavita Oberoi

Kavita Oberoi, Managing Director of Oberoi Consulting is the Business Operations Director.

In a career that has spanned 9 years Kavita Oberoi has taken herself from a University Graduate, First class BSc (Hons) in Applied Chemistry to become the Managing Director of one of the most innovative Healthcare related companies.

Kavita always had a strong passion for computers, which first came into play at University where Kavita wrote and developed a computer package for Chemistry Graduates that simulated the process of "hydrogenation" as part of her final year dissertation.

Having left University she embarked on a highly successful career with Bayer Pharmaceuticals where she quickly established herself as one of their leading Medical representatives.

Her success and achievements were recognised with continual promotions finally leading to the role of Healthcare Development Manager.

It was in this capacity that her focus switched to the development of Integrated Pathway Projects within PCTs. During this period she was also responsible for numerous key training and development projects which were geared to maximise business opportunities and develop financial modelling data within both Primary and Secondary Care.

In January 2001, Kavita left Bayer and started to deliver Management Training Skills to NHS personnel as a freelance trainer. This period gave Kavita an opportunity to start developing "Primary Care Clinical Systems" based projects that would have key value to the Pharmaceutical Industry and the NHS

Whilst piloting the development of these packages her talent was recognised by one of the worlds largest Pharmaceutical Companies that approached Kavita to trial a project in the Midlands.

By August of 2001 demand for her services had become so great that she established herself as the Managing Director of "Oberoi Consulting" and has continued to develop not only her own, but also the companies portfolio.

Dynamic, innovative, entrepreneurial, she sets by example standards of excellence and this is reflected in the success of the company to date.
